It is official - the sequel to the highly acclaimed film PANOPTICON is being released this August
The original film told the story of Benjamin Connery (Philip Seymour Hoffman), a man in the year 2035, who invented the most popular programme on the planet that revolutionized the internet.
The sequel will be an origin story, telling the story of Benjamin in the year 2014, as he and his friend James created the programme and battled college, love and dismissive corporate executives.
Jonah Hill will reprise his role as the younger Connery, with Aaron Paul playing his friend James (who was played by Sam Rockwell in the original film)

Paul F. Tompkins and Timothy Spall have officially joined the cast of GENERATION ME. We caught up with Spall, and he had this to say about this role: "I'm playing a character named Ernie. I'm Jonah [Hill]'s father. I am a real working-class bloke, dedicated to making money for my family through hard work, and although I don't outright say it, I look down at my son for what he is pursuing"Tompkins' role isn't clear, but he will apparently be playing the villain of the film. Samuel L. Jackson, who voiced the robot sidekick in Panopticon, has confirmed that he is indeed in Generation Me, but in a slightly different role:
In [Panopticon] I was a robot, or rather the voice of the robot. In this one, I'm still playing a character named Rufus, but no, he's not a robot"
